Genesis 1 tells us that “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” and at the end of the creation God had created everything “very good”. After the Lord had completed His work of creation, man (Adam and Eve) sinned and plunged the world into separation from God. The Bible tells us that we sinned against God and broke that relationship with Him. By sending His Son Jesus Christ to take the judgment for our sin and die for us God has provided a way to reconcile us to Him.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
