We believe in the inspiration of the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments. We believe it is the inerrant Word of God. it is both preserved and practical for all doctrine and manner of living today (II Tim. 3:16-17; II Peter 1:21). We use the KJV in all our teaching and preaching.
We believe that God exists in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three are equally God and eternal (Genesis 1:1; Ps. 104: 24-30).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe He is both completely God and completely man in His incarnation. We believe He is eternal in that He has always existed as God and with God. He took upon Himself the form of a man in His incarnation when He came to earth. We believe in the virgin birth (Isa. 7:14). By His shed blood on the cross He died to purge the sins of all who by faith accept Him as Savior (Acts 26:18; Heb. 9:22). We believe that He resurrected from the tomb in power and is now seated at the right hand of the Father as our Advocate (I John 2:10). He is coming again to establish His reign for all eternity at the Second Coming which will be preceded by the Rapture of the church seven years prior (Rev. 22:20; I Tim. 6:15-16).
We believe the biblical account of creation took place in six literal 24 hour days. We do not hold to any form of the theory of evolution (Gen. 1-2; Ps. 148:3-5; Acts 17:24).
We believe that all men, women, and children are born sinners and are sinners by choice (Rom. 3:23). There is a penalty for sin which is death and eternal destruction in the lake of fire (Romans 6:23). There is only one way of salvation, and that is through Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. Christ died for our sins to pay sin's penalty. All those that will call upon Him, turn from their sins, and trust Him as their Savior are saved and forgiven. Salvation is by faith through faith through God's grace, and not of any works of our own (John 3:16; Eph. 2:8-9).
We believe that those that are saved are saved eternally because salvation is not man's work, but God's work. When a person repents of their sin and accepts Christ as Savior the Holy Spirit dwells in them and is the seal of God's redemption ( I John 1:12-13, Romans 8:16, Eph. 1:13).
We believe that believer's baptism is for the saved and is by immersion. We are a fundamental, independent Baptist Church. We use conservative, traditional music in our services. We are friendly, loving and caring as a local body of believers with a heart for God, people, and world evangelism.
